Throughout my years at School, Sixth Form and University, I have enjoyed taking part in a variety of sports, focusing on Rugby and Tennis whilst competing in a number of both team and individual competitions.

Prior to taking the role of a coach, I worked within Human Resources, dealing with people on a day to day basis. Developing and enhancing my skills within People Management.

Since discovering CrossFit around 3 to 4 years ago, I integrated it more and more into my own training and day to day life. It has not only changed my perception of how to train but also what can be done through means of self-determination and mental strength. There are many positive benefits CrossFit has to your health and wellbeing. The end goal as a coach is to ensure the journey you start in CrossFit lead to you being healthier, fitter and stronger which can then be transferred to your personal life. One of the biggest rewards of this sport is the community aspect it provides, the development of friendships and the bringing together of both family and friends, making the sport very inclusive. One final thing which I personally see great satisfaction in is that there is nothing more rewarding than to see people achieve what they thought was unachievable, no matter how small or big that achievement was.

To coach full time is a dream come true and has been a goal I have aimed to achieve for a number of years now. I am very proud and extremely grateful to be part of an incredible team at JoLee Ltd and in particular CrossFit Telic, a team who seek great attention to high quality coaching. After all, fitness is fun. Therefore to do this job is extremely rewarding, very satisfactory and hugely exciting. To coach different individuals from different backgrounds, jobs and ages is truly special. I have always lived on the mentality that you should do what you love, give 100% in what you do, don’t live on regret, take the risks and the results will speak for themselves. I can proudly say that they have.
